Johnson Sales Inc. is a family owned business that was established by Ingolf C. Johnson in 1926 as a small repair garage in the town of Leeds on the family farm near Arlington Wisconsin.  In 1936 Johnson Sales and Service was formed and Chevrolet cars and trucks were sold out of the garage.  In 1954 International Harvester was added to the dealership to help fill the demand for new and used agricultural equipment on the Arlington Prairie.  In 1961 International Harvester started to market the Cub Cadet garden tractor to all its dealers entering the company into the new and used outdoor power business. Johnson Sales and Service incorporated in 1968 and ownership was taken over by Lloyd D Johnson son of the founder Ingolf C. Johnson.  In 1975 Johnson Sales Inc. took on the Stihl product line marketing chainsaws, brush cutters and power tools.  In 1984 Dixon ZTR mowers were added to the lawn and garden line.  In 1991 Lloyds 2 sons Steve and Gregg Johnson took over the family business.  In 2001 Johnson Sales Inc. added Yamaha motorcycles, atv’s, snowmobiles and generators to further add to their product lines.  As of today Johnson Sales Inc. is a one stop shop for new and used Case IH farm tractors, combines and farm equipment, Chevrolet cars and trucks, Cub Cadet, White Outdoor and Troy Bilt lawn equipment, Yamaha motorcycles, scooters ATV’s snowmobiles and generators. Stihl chainsaws weed trimmers, blowers and power tools, Dixon Zero turn mowers.  The company prides itself on being a friendly family orientated business that provides excellent service.
